The Azerbaijan Judo Championship among youth under 14 started on December 25.

A total of 430 judokas (329 boys, 101 girls) from 103 clubs and sports societies in 18 weight categories joined the tournament held at the Absheron Olympic Sports Complex.
On the first day of the competition, 137 judokas entered the tatami. Girls competed in the 36 kg, 48 kg, 63 kg weight categories; boys competed in the 38 kg, 50 kg and 66 kg weight categories.
