Rashad Nabiyev, President of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation, has been elected as a member of the Executive Committee of the International Judo Federation.
According to "Report", the decision was made at the Congress of the International Judo Federation (IJF) held in Budapest, the capital of Hungary.
Representatives of national federations, continental unions, and the international judo community took part in the prestigious event.
During the Congress, the new composition of the Executive Committee of the International Judo Federation for 2025–2029 was also approved. Based on the results of the vote, Rashad Nabiyev, President of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation, was elected as a member of the Executive Committee.
It should be noted that Marius Vizer, who was elected President of the IJF for the sixth time at the meeting, will lead the organization for the next four years.
