Nakhchivan karate fighter Rafig Huseynli (70 kg) won a silver medal at the international tournament.
The local bureau of "Report" reports that he distinguished himself at the "VI Gemlik International Karate Tournament" held in the Gemlik region of Bursa, Turkey.
About 2,000 karate fighters from 8 countries participated in the competition.
R.Huseynli, a member of the "Gapichig" Karate-do Sports Club operating in Nakhchivan, successfully performed in the kumite competitions of the tournament and was among the winners. He was awarded a silver medal in the 14-15 age category.
It should be reminded that Rafig Huseynli is a winner and medalist of world Shotokan championships, including international tournaments and national competitions.
