Azerbaijan's Paralympic champion Shahana Hajiyeva has been given a position in the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES).
According to the information obtained by "Report", Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov signed an order in this regard.
According to the order, the civil servant was appointed as the chief advisor of the Awareness Sector of the Sumgayit Regional Center of the MES.
It should be noted that Shahana Hajiyeva (48 kg) won a gold medal in the judo competition at the Tokyo Summer Paralympic Games held in 2021. The Honored Master of Sports was awarded the 1st degree "For Service to the Motherland" order by the Order of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated September 6, 2021, for her achievements in the XVI Summer Paralympic Games and her services to Azerbaijani sports.
