Azerbaijan's youth judo team has made a successful start to the European Cup held in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia.
İdman.biz reports that our representatives won two gold, one silver and one bronze medal on the first day.
Nihad Mamishov, Farid Garayev (both 60 kg), Muhammad Musayev, Nizami Imranov (both 66 kg) and Abil Yusubov (73 kg) took to the tatami on the first day of the competition.
Nihad defeated another Azerbaijani judoka, Farid, in the final. Abil won the other gold in our team. Muhammad Musayev was awarded the bronze medal.
It should be noted that the European Cup will end tomorrow.
