Azerbaijani young judokas finished the individual competitions at the World Championship held in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, with two medals.
According to the information of the "Report"'s employee sent to the tournament, Masuma Mammadli (70 kg), who entered the tatami today, lost to Vanessa Karaffova (Czech Republic) in the 1/6 final stage.
Subhan Akhundov (+90 kg) lost the duel with Kaito Tokita (Japan) in the 1/8 final.
It should be noted that earlier 13 judokas from Azerbaijan entered the tatami. Anar Guliyev (50 kg) and Zeyd Alasgarov (60 kg) won bronze medals. Today, the individual fight in the World Championship is concluded. The mixed team competition will take place on August 31.
