The international training camp continues at the Guba Olympic Sports Complex.
Idman.biz reports that about 280 judokas from 9 countries are participating in the preparation process organized jointly by the European Judo Union and the Azerbaijan Judo Federation.
Along with the national teams of Azerbaijan from junior boys and girls, athletes representing Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Czech Republic, France and the International Judo Federation are also in the training camp.
Our judokas are led by Emin Iskandarli, the head coach of the junior boys' team, coaches Nijat Shikhalizade, Kotaro Sasaki, Elnur Ismayilov, the head coach of the junior girls' team, and coach Amrah Amrahov.
The training camp on May 5-7 is preparation for the European Championship, which will be held in June in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia, and the European Youth Olympic Festival, which will be held in July.
