Our Olympic champion will not participate in the European Championship
There has been a change in the composition of the Azerbaijani national judo team that will participate in the European Championship. Sport24.az reports with reference to the press service of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation that Olympic, world and four-time European champion Hidayat Heydarov has been removed from the team by the decision of doctors due to illness.
He will be replaced in the competition by Rashid Mammadaliyev (73 kg).
It should be noted that the European Judo Championship among adults will be held in Montenegro between April 23-27. 15 judokas (9 men, 6 women) will represent our country in the prestigious tournament.
