The European Judo Championship continues.
Idman.biz reports that three judokas from the Azerbaijani national team will compete on the tatami on the fourth day of the competition held in Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro.
Our Olympic champion Zelim Kotsoyev will start his first test after Paris-2024. Ushangi Kokauri and Nigar Suleymanova will also compete on the last day of individual competitions.
Men
100 kg
Zelim Kotsoyev will start the fight from the 2nd stage. His opponent will be determined in the duel between Simeon Georgiadis (Greece) - Mixael Aristos (Cyprus).
110 kg
Ushangi Kokauri will face Patrik Broniec (Poland).
Women

Nigar Suleymanova will face Sofia Somkhishvili (Georgia).
It should be noted that our team won 4 bronze medals in the first 3 days of the competition. Ahmad Yusifov won in 60 kg, Rashid Mammadaliyev in 73 kg, Zelim Tckaev in 81 kg, and Murad Fatiyev in 90 kg.
