Azerbaijan's women's judo team has won the European Cup held in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina).
Idman.biz reports that our team won two gold and two bronze medals.
Kanul Aliyeva (48 kg) and Gultaj Mammadaliyeva (57 kg) won gold medals, while Leyla Aliyeva (48 kg) and Gunel Hasanli (78 kg) won bronze medals.
Our team was the only team to win more than one gold medal at the European Cup. Croatia (1-3-0) came in second, and Poland (1-2-2) came in third.
It should be noted that judokas from a total of 13 countries distinguished themselves in the competition.
