Azerbaijani judokas successfully competed at the International Open Tournament held in Belgium. Sport24.az reports that our national team won a total of 11 medals, including 3 gold, 2 silver, and 6 bronze medals in the competition.
On the second day of the tournament held in the city of Vise, Yashar Najafov (-66 kg) emerged victorious from all his matches.
In the same weight category, Tofig Mammadov (-66 kg) and Jasur Ibadli (-81 kg), as well as Gultaj Mammadaliyeva (-52 kg) among women, won bronze medals.
It should be noted that on the first day of the competition, Murad Muradli (-60 kg), Jamal Feyziyev (+100 kg) won gold, Abil Yusubov (-73 kg), Zelim Tchkayev (-90 kg) won silver, Farid Garayev (-60 kg), Kamran Suleymanov (-73 kg) and Ramazan Ahmadov (+100 kg) won bronze medals.
