Ahead of the World Championship in Budapest, the capital of Hungary, some Azerbaijani judokas have improved their ranking. Sport24.az reports that Eljan Hajiyev (90 kg) moved up one step to 5th place.
Zelim Tchkaev (81 kg) rose to 6th place. Balabay Agayev (60 kg) returned to the top ten, while Ushangi Kokauri (+100 kg) is on the verge of the Top-10 in 11th place.
In addition, Olympic champions Hidayat Heydarov (73 kg) and Zelim Kotsoev (100 kg) continue to confidently lead the ranking table.
It should be noted that the composition of the Azerbaijani team for the World Championship, which will start on June 13, has not yet been announced.
