The Open Asian Tournament held in Aktau, Kazakhstan, has come to an end.
Idman.Biz reports that 4 more members of our national team climbed the podium on the last day of the competition.
The final of the 70 kg weight category among women was remarkable with the Azerbaijan derby. Sudaba Agayeva won gold, and Aytac Gardashkhanli won a silver medal.
Gunel Hasanli, who competed in the 78 kg weight category, was also awarded a silver medal. In the men's competition, Elmar Gasimov (-100 kg) won a bronze medal.
It should be noted that Tofig Mammadov (60 kg), Gultaj Mammadaliyeva (52 kg) won gold, Huseyn Allahyarov (60 kg), Ulviyya Bayramova (57 kg) won silver, Elshan Asadov (66 kg) and Ibrahim Aliyev (73 kg) won bronze medals the previous day.
In the end, Azerbaijan won 10 medals, including 3 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze, and took third place in the overall team standings.
