On October 4, the draw ceremony for the World Judo Championship among youth was held in Lima, the capital of Peru. According to the results of the draw, the first opponents of our judokas have been determined.
Azerbaijan will be represented in the World Championship in individual competitions with a total of 8 athletes (6 boys, 2 girls) in 5 weight categories. 463 judokas from 65 countries will participate in the competition.
The qualifying round matches of the World Championship will start tomorrow at 16:30 Baku time, and the final block will start at 03:00.
