An official belt rank examination was held at the Training Center for national judo teams, organized by the Azerbaijan Judo Federation.
Idman.biz reports that 250 judokas took the exam for white-yellow, yellow, orange, green, blue, and brown belt ranks according to their respective age categories.
Athletes who successfully passed the exam were awarded the corresponding belt and certificate.
It should be noted that the holding of official belt examinations is of great importance for athletes to comprehensively learn judo techniques, as well as for their motivation. The belt examination is necessary for evaluating and officially recognizing the level of professionalism, as well as for participating in prestigious domestic competitions in the future.
