An official belt rank exam was held today at the Nakhchivan Olympic Complex, organized by the Azerbaijan Judo Federation (ACF).
The ACF press service told "Report" about this.
In the exam, 115 judo athletes from the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic took exams for white-yellow, yellow, orange, green, blue, and brown belt ranks according to their respective age groups. Athletes who successfully passed the exam were awarded appropriate belts and certificates.
Holding official belt exams is important for athletes to comprehensively learn judo techniques, as well as for their motivation.
The belt exam is necessary for evaluating and officially recognizing the level of professionalism, as well as for participating in prestigious domestic competitions in the future.
