The North-West region championships among U-14 and U-17 youth will be organized.
Idman.Biz reports that judokas from Balakan, Zagatala, Gakh, Sheki, Oguz, Gabala, Ismayilli, Agsu, Shamakhi and Gobustan will compete in the tournaments.
It was reported that the purpose of the competition is to form a base of young judokas and to determine the athletes who will participate in the national championship based on quotas. Also, the U-17 championship will bring important rating points for selection to the national team.
It should be noted that the tournament will be held on October 23-24 at the Sheki Olympic Sports Complex. Admission to the arena is free.
