A new judo hall has opened in Dashkasan.
Idman.Biz reports that the Azerbaijan Judo Federation has released information about this.
The opening ceremony was attended by Namig Suleymanov, Deputy Head of the Dashkasan District Executive Authority, Head of the Territorial-Organizational and Socio-Political Affairs Department, Javad Javadov, representative of the sports department of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Elshan Huseynov, Head of the Ganja-Dashkasan Regional Youth and Sports Department, Aykhan Farajli, acting Head of the Education Sector for the Dashkasan district, Natig Bagirov, advisor to the president of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation, and other officials.
The hall was equipped by the Azerbaijan Judo Federation with tatami mats and other equipment necessary for the training process in accordance with modern standards. Conditions have been created for more than 100 athletes to practice judo here.
It should be noted that during 2022-2026, new judo halls were commissioned by the Azerbaijan Judo Federation in Ganja, Sumgayit, Gusar, Agstafa, Zagatala, Goranboy, Sabirabad, Zira settlement of Baku, Agdash, Kurdamir, Astara, Jalilabad, Tartar, Gakh, Imishli, Shabran, Mosul village of Zagatala, Vandam settlement of Gabala and Sahil settlement of Garadagh district.
In addition, a total of 14,180 tatami mats were distributed to 198 sports halls in Baku and the regions.
