The Azerbaijan Judo Federation (AJF) wants to increase the number of participating countries in the European Cup held among juniors in our country.
According to the employee of "Report" who was sent to the competition, Natig Bagirov, advisor to the president of the AJF, told reporters about this.
The official of the organization shared his views on the tournament that started today:
"It's a judo holiday in Ganja. This competition is selective for the national team. We expect medals from our judokas. Athletes who can show themselves will have a chance to participate in the European and World Championships."
N. Bagirov added that he played a role in the arrival of Belarusian athletes here:
"I used to be the head coach of the judo national team of this country. It is gratifying that they are participating in the competition in Azerbaijan. We want to increase the number of participants in the European Cup."
