Nakhchivan judokas won 8 medals at the "International Black Sea Judo Championship" tournament in Samsun, Turkey.
The local bureau of "Report" informs that 1 girl and 8 boy judokas from Nakhchivan Children and Youth Sports School participated in the international competition under the leadership of coach Khayal Gahramanov.
6 of them won gold, 1 silver, and 1 bronze medal. According to the number of medals won, the representatives of Azerbaijan took the first place in the U-13 age group and the third place in the U-15 age category.
In the competition, Ilham Najafov (2013–2014, 23 kg), Shahin Guliyev (2013–2014, 26 kg), Ziya Asadli (2013–2014, 30 kg), Ayaz Aliyev (2013–2014, 30 kg), Parvin Ismayilov (2013–2014, 38 kg) and Yusif Asadli (2010–2011, 55 kg) won gold medals by defeating all their opponents.
Subhan Akbarov (2013–2014, 23 kg) won a silver medal, and Mursal Gafarli (2013–2014, 26 kg) won a bronze medal.
