Azerbaijani judoka Muhammad Agakishiyev (73 kg) defeated his opponent from Armenia with ippon at the XVIII European Youth Summer Olympic Festival (EYOF) held in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia.
This was reported to "Report" by the press service of the National Olympic Committee.
Our judoka, who started the fight from the 1/8 finals, faced Tigran Sarukhanyan. M. Agakishiyev, who defeated his opponent with ippon, qualified for the 1/4 finals.
It should be noted that Amin Mehdiyev (81 kg) also qualified for the 1/4 finals earlier.
