An official belt grade exam was held at the Training Center of national teams, organized by the Azerbaijan Judo Federation.
Idman.Biz reports that 307 judokas demonstrated their technical readiness for white-yellow, yellow, orange, green, blue and brown belt grades, according to their age. Athletes who successfully passed the tests were awarded with appropriate belts and certificates.
It should be noted that belt exams serve to help judokas master the technique more systematically and comprehensively, and also increase their motivation. Belt grade is an important indicator in terms of official assessment of the athlete's level of preparation, and is also one of the main conditions for participation in prestigious domestic competitions in the future.
