A meeting was held with the members of our national team who will participate in the European Junior Championships.
Idman.biz reports that the meeting was attended by Vice-President of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation (ACF) Elnur Mammadli, Executive Vice-President Rashad Rasullu, Advisor to the President Natig Bagirov, and the coaching staff of the national teams.
The Federation management expressed their confidence in the athletes and emphasized that they expect successful results from them at the European Championship. Judokas were also given recommendations regarding the upcoming competition.
It should be noted that the European Junior Judo Championship will be held on June 26–29 in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia. At the continental championship, Azerbaijan will be represented by 19 athletes (10 boys, 9 girls) in 14 weight categories in individual competition. Our country will also compete in the mixed team competition on the last day of the tournament.
