A meeting was held with judokas who will participate in the World Junior Championships.
Idman.biz reports that the meeting took place within the framework of the training camp organized in Guba.
The meeting was attended by Natig Bagirov, advisor to the president of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation, Emin Iskandarov, head coach of the junior boys' team, and coach Nijat Shikhalizade.
The Federation official expressed confidence in the athletes and said that they expect a successful performance from them in the upcoming prestigious tournament. The judokas were also given pre-competition advice and wished success.
It should be noted that the World Junior Judo Championships will be held on August 27–31 in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. Azerbaijan will be represented at the World Championships by 15 athletes (8 boys, 7 girls) in 10 weight categories in individual competitions. Our team will compete in the mixed team competition on the last day of the tournament.
