Kosa Adam, President of the International Committee of Sports for the Deaf (ICSD), met with a delegation led by Anar Bayramov, Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan Deaflympic Committee (ADK).
According to Idman.Biz from ADK, Anar Bayramov stated at the meeting held on the occasion of our country winning a medal for the first time in the history of sports at the "XXV Summer Deaflympics Games" that our judoka defeated athletes with sufficient experience in international competitions and rose to the honorary podium. Thus, he went down in history as the first deaflympian to win a silver medal at the Deaflympics in Azerbaijani history.
ICSD President Adam Kosa congratulated the Azerbaijani delegation on the historic event and wished our athletes success in the next competitions.
At the meeting, there was also an exchange of views on the development of the deaflympic movement in our country, strengthening international cooperation in this field, mutual exchange of experience and opportunities for the implementation of joint projects.
