The list of Azerbaijani judokas who will participate in the U-23 European Championship to be held in Chisinau, the capital of Moldova, from October 31 to November 1, has been announced.
The Azerbaijan Judo Federation informed "Report" about this.
The country will be represented at the competition by 9 judokas in 6 weight categories, led by the national team's senior coaches Elkhan Mammadov and Slavko Tekic.
Murad Muradli, Huseyn Allahyarov (both 60 kg), Islam Rahimov (66 kg), Vusal Galandarzade, Omar Rajabli (both 81 kg), Vugar Talibov, Aslan Kotsoyev (both 90 kg), Ajdar Bagirov (100 kg), and Kenan Nasibov (+100 kg) will compete on the tatami.
It should be noted that 314 athletes from 38 countries will compete for medals in the continental championship.
