A ceremony was held to present level certificates to judo coaches within the framework of cooperation between the Azerbaijan Sports Academy (ASA) and the Azerbaijan Judo Federation (AJF).
The press service of the Ministry of Youth and Sports told "Report" about this.
Speaking at the ceremony, Fuad Hajiyev, Rector of ASA, emphasized the importance of improving the quality of sports education in the country, improving the coach training system, and training personnel in accordance with international standards.
Rashad Rasul, Executive Vice-President of ACF, stated that effective cooperation between the Federation and the Academy makes a significant contribution to the development of judo, and noted that the certification process plays a special role in increasing the professional level of coaches.
Ulkar Babayeva, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Academy, said in her speech that the cooperation model between ASA and ACF will have a positive impact on the training of competitive personnel in both local and international labor markets.
Lala Mammadova, Head of the Department of Lifelong Education of ASA, shared a general overview of various trainings implemented within the framework of the certification program.
Then, certificates were presented to judo coaches for levels I and III, as well as to participants who successfully completed the "Coach Training" program.
