The Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur regional championships among U-14 and U-17 adolescents will be held on September 16.
Idman.biz reports that judokas from Barda, Tartar, Agjabadi, Agdam, Fuzuli, Khojavend, Jabrayil, Zangilan, Gubadli, Lachin, Shusha, Khankendi, Khojaly and Kalbajar will compete in the tournaments.
The purpose of holding the competitions, which will be held at the Aghdam Olympic Sports Complex, is to form a base of young judokas and determine the athletes who will participate in the national championship based on quotas.
It should be noted that the U-17 championships will provide important rating points for selection to the national team.
