An official belt degree exam was held at the Goranboy Olympic Sports Complex with the organization of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation (ACF). Sport24.az reports with reference to ACF that 373 judokas from the Western region took the exam for white-yellow, yellow, orange, green, blue, and brown belt degrees, based on their respective age appropriateness.
Athletes who successfully passed the exam were awarded the corresponding belt and certificate.
Holding official belt exams is important for athletes to comprehensively learn judo techniques, as well as for their motivation.
The belt exam is necessary for assessing and officially recognizing the level of professionalism, as well as for participating in prestigious domestic competitions in the future.
