A seminar was organized at the Azerbaijan Judo Federation for coaches of national teams and representatives of leading judo clubs in the country.

The rehabilitation and taping topic of the training program was taught by Morgan Selles, a physiotherapist with international experience.
During the session, participants were presented with practical knowledge about the most common injuries in judo, their causes, rehabilitation stages, safe return of the athlete to training and competitions, as well as the correct application of injury dressing and kinesiotaping.
The topic of stretching exercises and mobilization was conducted by the well-known expert Taro Netzer. During the training, the role of stretching and mobilization methods in the judo training process, reducing the risk of injury, increasing the range of motion, as well as the principles of correct application before and after training were explained.
The sessions consisted of both theoretical and practical parts.
The main goal of the trainings was to strengthen the medical rehabilitation knowledge of coaches and ensure that they work with athletes in a safer and more scientific way. The Azerbaijan Judo Federation continues the continuous development of coaches and providing them with knowledge in accordance with international standards as a priority direction.
