Today, 4 more representatives of Azerbaijan will join the fight at the Judo Grand Slam tournament in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia.
"Report" reports that Kamran Suleymanov and Hidayat Heydarov, who compete in the 73 kg weight category, will step on the tatami. Both athletes are represented by Belgium.
Suleymanov will face Rey Marins in the 1/32 finals, and Heydarov will face Zelemkhan Batchayev in the 1/16 finals.
In the women's competition, Azerbaijanis will compete in the 70 kg weight category, in the 1/16 finals.
Sudaba Aghayeva will face Nino Gulbani (Georgia), and Aytaj Gardashkhanli will face Shirincon Yuldoshova (Uzbekistan).
The qualification stage of the "Grand Slam" will start at 10:00, and the final block will start at 17:00. The competition will end on March 22.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani representatives have 1 silver medal in their assets. Turan Bayramov (66 kg) rose to the second step of the podium yesterday.
