Official belt examinations were held at the Absheron Olympic Sports Complex with the organization of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation (ACF). According to the ACF, 425 judokas demonstrated their knowledge and skills in white-yellow, yellow, orange, green, blue and brown belt levels based on age suitability.
Athletes who successfully passed the exam were awarded with relevant belts and certificates.
Belt exams serve to ensure that judokas learn techniques more systematically and comprehensively, while also increasing their motivation. The belt level is an important indicator in terms of assessing and officially recognizing the athlete's level of preparation, and is also one of the necessary conditions for participating in prestigious domestic competitions in the future.
