The Japanese judo team won 2 gold, 4 silver, and 1 bronze medal at the "Grand Slam" tournament held in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan.
Idman.biz reports that the winning team also became the champion at the "Grand Slam" held in Baku three months ago.
Doia Arai (100 kg) and Hyoga Ota (+100 kg) have each secured two gold medals since the beginning of the year.
It is likely that both judokas will be in the Japanese national team at the World Championships to be held in Budapest in June.
