According to the tripartite memorandum of understanding signed between the Azerbaijan Judo Federation (ACF), the Azerbaijan Sports Academy, and the University of Hertfordshire of Great Britain, theoretical classes of a special program have started in Guba for students studying judo coaching.
"Report" reports that local expert Orkhan Safarov conducted seminars on "The Role and Responsibilities of a Judo Instructor" and British expert Bob Challis on "Health and Safety in Judo."
Practical judo lessons are also held within the framework of the program under the leadership of Professor Mike Callen of the University of Hertfordshire.
The main goal of the initiative is to ensure that students studying coaching acquire knowledge and skills in accordance with international standards.
It should be noted that more than 60 students participate in the program.
