The International Judo Federation (IJF) has presented a report on the results of the first half of the year.
Idman.biz reports that the IJF also noted the "Grand Slam" tournament held in Baku among the important events of the season.
The report emphasizes that the World Judo Tour continues at a fast and exciting pace: "Competitions were held in Baku, Tashkent, Austria, Tbilisi, Dushanbe, and Astana. Each tournament had its own surprises, advancements, and world-class ippons.
With the summer break, the competition period is briefly suspended, so attention is focused on young people: the World Cadet Championships will be held in Sofia at the end of August. After that, the World Judo Tour will continue with the "Qingdao Grand Prix 2025" on September 26-28."
