The Judo Grand Prix tournament has started in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia.
Idman.Biz reports that one of our judokas climbed the honorary podium on the first day of the competition.
In the 60 kg weight category, Huseyn Allahyarov won a bronze medal by defeating Italian representative Biaco Di Angelo with an ippon in the match for third place. This was the first award of our 22-year-old judoka in the World Judo Tour.
It should be noted that Azerbaijan participated in the competition with 15 judokas.
