Olympic champion Hidayat Heydarov (73 kg) remains second in terms of the number of rating points scored among judokas in all weight categories. Sport24.az reports that the general list of the International Judo Federation (IJF) reflects the indicators of world ranking leaders among both men and women.
Our judoka is in second place with 6544 points.
This is the highest score among men, and Heydarov is second only to Olympic champion Christa Deguchi (Canada, 7300) in the overall standings. Double Olympic medalist Amandine Buchard (6200) rose to third place.
Our other Olympic champion, Zelim Kotsoev (100 kg), has the fifth highest score - 6046.
