Idman.biz reports that athletes elected their representatives to the International Judo Federation (IJF) Athletes' Commission during the World Judo Championships in Budapest, Hungary.
As a result of the elections, 5 members were elected by the athletes' votes, and 4 members were appointed by the IJF Executive Committee. The new composition will be active for a four-year term covering 2025-2029.
It is a matter of pride that Hidayat Heydarov, Olympic, world and four-time European champion, has been elected a member of the Athletes' Commission by the decision of the IJF Executive Committee.
