Olympic champion Hidayat Heydarov (73 kg) has dropped to third place in terms of ranking points among judokas in all weight categories.
Idman.biz reports that the general table of the International Judo Federation (IJF) reflects the performance of the leading judokas in the world ranking of both men and women.
The Azerbaijani judoka, who has not competed since his championship in Paris-2024, has dropped from second to third place. He currently has 5400 points. At the beginning of the month, this figure was 6544 points, but over time, the ranking "value" of previous results has decreased.
However, Heydarov has the highest score among men. He is only behind French female judokas Amandine Bouchard (5700 points) and Romane Dicko (5650 points).
Our other Olympic champion, Zelim Kotsoiev (100 kg), is in ninth place on the list with 4920 points.
