The preparedness level of hearing-impaired judokas was checked within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Azerbaijan Deaflympics Committee (ADK) and the Azerbaijan Judo Federation (ACF).
"Report" informs with reference to the ADK press service that the verification process was supervised by Kotora Sasaki, the Japanese coach of the Azerbaijani national team for technical and tactical training, Mike Callan, the head of the bachelor's degree program in judo, British, and Orkhan Safarov, a specialist of the ACF Education Department.
During the technical inspection, the athletes' level of preparedness was analyzed, and practical exercises were carried out on technical tasks before the competition. During the process, the technical skills of the judokas were evaluated, and they were taught new methods and techniques for development purposes.
One of the main goals of the inspection was to improve the athletes' existing skills and to instill in them modern approaches applied at the international level. In this context, special emphasis was placed on defense and attack techniques, balance and coordination, and practical instructions were given based on an individual approach.
