Murad Fatiyev, competing in the 90 kg weight category, won the consolation match against Slovakian Alex Barto and will fight for a bronze medal.
Zelim Kotsoiev, in the 100 kg weight category, defeated Canadian Kyle Reyes in the semi-finals and advanced to the final and will fight for the "gold" medal.
In the +100 kg category, Ushangi Kokauri defeated US representative Alex Semenenko and advanced to the final. His opponent in the final will be Czech judoka Lukas Krpalek.
