The new head coach of the New York Rangers club in the NHL has been announced.
Idman.biz reports that the president and general manager Chris Drury has released a statement about it.
He announced that Mike Sullivan will lead the team. Drury said he hopes the New York representative will achieve success with an experienced specialist. The Rangers, who failed to qualify for the playoffs, parted ways with Peter Laviolette on April 19.
It should be noted that Sullivan left the Pittsburgh Penguins a few days ago, where he worked for 10 years. Under his leadership, the Penguins won the Stanley Cup twice.
