Today, 4 of our judokas will join the competition at the "Grand Slam" tournament held in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. Sport24.az reports that Kamran Suleymanov and Hidayat Heydarov, who compete in the 73 kg weight category, will enter the tatami. Both of them are represented by Belgium.
Suleymanov will face Rey Marins in the 1/32 finals, and Heydarov will face Zelekhan Batçayev in the 1/16 finals.
In the women's competition, Azerbaijanis will compete in the 70 kg weight category in the 1/16 finals.
Sudaba Agayeva will face Nino Gulbani (Georgia), and Aytaj Gardashanli will face Shirinjon Yuldoshova (Uzbekistan).
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani representatives have 1 silver medal in their assets. Turan Bayramov (66 kg) rose to the second step of the podium yesterday.
