The European Judo Championship continues in Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro. Sport24.az reports that five more Azerbaijani judokas will join the competition today.
In the men's competition, Zelim Tckayev, Omar Rajabli (both 81 kg), and Murad Fatiyev (90 kg) will enter the tatami.
In the women's competition, Gunel Hasanli and Sudaba Agayeva (both 70 kg) will test their strength.
It should be noted that Ahmad Yusifov (60 kg) and Rashid Mammadaliyev (73 kg) previously won bronze medals.
In addition, the Azerbaijani team is competing in the European Championship with both individual athletes and teams. Our country is represented by 15 judokas in 12 weight categories, including 9 men and 6 women. The team will also participate in the mixed team competition.
