According to the employee of "Report", who was sent to the competition, the winners in 8 more weight categories were determined on the second - last day of the competition.
Azerbaijani judokas finished this day with 6 medals (3 silver, 3 bronze).
Said Sharifov (73 kg), Amin Mehdiyev (81 kg) and Said Huseynov (90 kg) were satisfied with silver medals.
Mahammad Agakishiyev (73 kg), Subhan Akhundov and Tunar Farzaliyev (both +90 kg) won bronze medals.
It should be noted that yesterday the Azerbaijani team won 12 medals (3 gold, 3 silver and 6 bronze). Anar Guliyev (50 kg), Zeyd Alasgarov (60 kg), Nurana Hajizadeh (48 kg) won gold, Rasul Alizadeh (55 kg), Fakhri Sahibzadeh (66 kg), Leyla Alakbarova (48 kg) silver, Ibrahim Talibov, Rza Khalilili (both 50 kg), Royal Gayibov (60 kg), Huseyn Huseynov (66 kg), Khadija Abdullayeva (44 kg) and Aysun Mammadova (52 kg) were awarded bronze medals.
In the end, the Azerbaijani team, winning a total of 18 medals, including 3 gold, 6 silver and 9 bronze, took second place in the team standings of the tournament.
