The European Judo Championship held in Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro, will conclude today.
İdman.biz reports that the Azerbaijani mixed team will start the competition today.
In the 1/8 final stage, our team will face the Georgian team.
In the mixed team competition, matches will be held in a total of 6 weight categories (men: 73 kg, 90 kg, +90 kg; women: 57 kg, 70 kg, +70 kg).
The match will start at 12:30 Baku time.
15 countries (154 judokas: 77 men, 77 women) will compete in the mixed team competition.
It should be noted that our judokas won 5 medals (1 silver, 4 bronze) in the individual competitions of the tournament. Zelim Kotsoyev (100 kg) won silver, Ahmad Yusifov (60 kg), Rashid Mammadaliyev (73 kg), Zelim Tckaev (81 kg) and Murad Fatiyev (90 kg) won bronze medals.
