The European Judo Championship continues.
Idman.biz reports that three judokas from the Azerbaijani national team will compete on the fourth day of the competition held in Podroritsa, the capital of Montenegro.
Our Olympic champion Zelim Kotsoiev will start his first test after Paris-2024. Ushangi Kokauri and Nigar Suleymanova will also compete on the last day of the individual competitions.
Men
100 kg
Zelim Kotsoiev started the fight from the 2nd stage. He defeated Michael Aristos (Cyprus) at the start. Our Olympic champion will face Maksims Duynovs (Latvia).
110 kg
Ushangi Kokauri faced Patrik Broniec (Poland). Our judoka, who won, wrestled Marius Fizel (Slovakia) in the 1/8 finals. Kokauri, who was superior in this duel, will compete with Recep Ergin (Turkey) in the next match.
