The European Judo Championship continues.
Idman.biz reports that three judokas of the Azerbaijani national team will compete on the fourth day of the competition held in Podroritsa, the capital of Montenegro.
Our Olympic champion Zelim Kotsoyev will start his first test after Paris-2024. Ushangi Kokauri and Nigar Suleymanova will also compete on the last day of individual competitions.
Men
100 kg
Zelim Kotsoyev will start the fight from the 2nd stage. His opponent will be determined in the duel Simeon Georgiadis (Greece) – Michael Aristos (Cyprus).
110 kg
Ushangi Kokauri faced Patrik Broniec (Poland). Our judoka, who wins, will wrestle Mikita Svirid (Croatia) in the 1/8 finals.

Nigar Suleymanova lost to Sofia Somkhishvili (Georgia) in the first match.
It should be noted that our team won 4 bronze medals in the first 3 days of the competition. Ahmad Yusifov took the podium in the 60 kg, Rashid Mammadaliyev in the 73 kg, Zelim Tckayev in the 81 kg, and Murad Fatiyev in the 90 kg weight categories.
