Elvin Bagirov won a bronze medal at the "Founders of Sambo Cup" held in Moscow

The "Founders of Sambo Cup" competition among men is being held in Moscow, Russian Federation, from March 23-26.

Idman.Biz reports that our representative Elvin Bagirov won a bronze medal in the 71 kg weight category at the competition.

Our country is represented at the tournament by 7 athletes: Sahib Babayev (58 kg), Mirfettah Seyidaliyev (64 kg), Elvin Bagirov (71 kg), Rijad Nadirov (79 kg), Adil Adilzade (88 kg), Agani Mammadov (98 kg), Mahammad Mammadzadeh (+98 kg), and Vahid Tarverdiyev, the head coach of the men's national team.
