Eight judoists will represent Azerbaijan at the "Grand Slam" tournament, which will be held in Paris, the capital of France, on February 7-8.

It was reported that the country will be represented by eight judoists in five weight categories under the leadership of the head coach of the men's national team, Richard Trautmann, and senior coaches Elkhan Mammadov and Slavko Tekic.
Balabey Agayev (60 kg), Nazir Talibov, Ruslan Pashayev (both 66 kg), Zelim Tckaev, Vusal Galandarzade (both 81 kg), Ajdar Bagirov (100 kg), Ushangi Kokauri and Kenan Nasibov will compete on the tatami.
It should be noted that 526 athletes from 82 countries will compete in the tournament.
